Messages of support are pouring in from other NTEU chapters!

Our fellow NTEU chapters are inundating us with messages of support as we continue to fight for a fair deal on compensation. We are cheered and reinvigorated to keep pushing Management to engage and make meaningful moves from their latest offer!

From Chapter 207 (FDIC):

Chapter 207 stands united with our colleagues at NTEU Chapter 335. We share their disappointment regarding the CFPB leadership's lack of willingness to engage in constructive dialogue and reach a fair agreement with the Union and its dedicated employees.

The disregard shown towards the Union's efforts to secure a contract that recognizes the hard work and contributions of CFPB employees is deeply troubling. It is imperative that management recognizes the importance of fostering a collaborative relationship with the Union to ensure the well-being and fair treatment of all employees.

We commend the unwavering commitment of the NTEU Bargaining Unit employees at the CFPB, who consistently go above and beyond to serve the Agency and the public with excellence. Like you, we, your counterparts at the FDIC, are driven by a shared dedication to the mission and a steadfast commitment to delivering results for the American people.

Chapter 207 wants to convey our full support to NTEU Chapter 335 and reaffirm our solidarity in pursuing a fair and equitable compensation package for CFPB employees. It is unfair that these hardworking individuals do not have an agreement that dignifies and values their significant contributions to the Agency's success. We are committed to working alongside our colleagues to achieve a positive outcome that honors the dedication and professionalism of CFPB employees.

From District 3:

I just wanted to reach out and let you know that we are all behind you and that we need you to keep up the good fight to protect your members from the hard liners in management.

I am a National Vice-President (District 3) and have been an NTEU member for over 40 years. I was the former President of NTEU Chapter 60 (IRS-NJ) and been on numerous negotiating teams - many which did not always go smoothly.

I know it may seem tough now, but NEVER GIVE UP!  You are on the right side of the issues and have tremendous support from all of NTEU.

Stay the course and give them hell.

IN UNITY!

From Chapter 337 (CFTC):

Dear Colleagues at NTEU Chapter 335,

I hope this message finds you strong and steadfast amidst your ongoing struggle for fair compensation. As the President of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) Chapter 337, along with our executive board, stewards, and bargaining unit, I write to you today to express our unwavering support and solidarity with you all.

The challenges you are facing at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) resonate deeply with us, as we understand the importance of fighting for equitable pay and the recognition of our collective efforts. It is disheartening to hear that the negotiations have been prolonged due to management's reluctance to provide a fair and competitive compensation agreement, especially in light of the essential services you provide to protect the financial well-being of American consumers.

Please know that you are not alone in this fight. Your determination and resilience in standing up for what is just and fair inspire us. The solidarity amongst our brothers and sisters in the National Treasury Employees Union (NTEU) is a testament to our shared commitment to support one another, especially when facing adversity.

We stand ready to assist in any way we can and are rooting for your success. Remember, solidarity is our strength, and together, we can overcome the challenges that lie ahead. Let us continue to hold the line and remind management that our unity is unbreakable and our cause is just.

Wishing you strength and success in your negotiations. Keep fighting the good fight, and never hesitate to reach out for support.

From Chapter 300 (OCC):

Hi Chapter 335:

Doreen told us about the problems you are having with CFPB management on your compensation bargaining. It’s a shame that any agency under this administration plays hardball with their unions. Fortunately, you have Steve Keller on your team. He did great things for us at the OCC on compensation last year when we thought we were headed to impasse again. I’m sure he can find a way to work it out for your Chapter too!

Hang in there! Sometimes a breakthrough comes when you least expect it.

- Chapter 300 President

From District 4:

Good luck in negotiating your compensation agreement with the Agency!

All of NTEU supports your efforts to negotiate a fair compensation agreement and for fair treatment of bargaining unit employees.

In solidarity-

NVP District 4

From NTEU's DC Field Office:

Kick butt! Stay strong.

- NTEU D.C. Field Office

From Chapter 274 (FDIC Kansas City):

Never give in and never give up in your quest to obtain fair and comparable compensation for your bargaining unit employees.
