The votes are in, and NTEU 335 members have voted "YES" to ratify the 2024-2028 Collective Bargaining Agreement! See what's in the new CBA at www.nteu335.org/cba.
Voting closed at 8pm EDT (5pm PDT) today, November 1st. Ratification was decided by a simple majority, and the ratification result is binding on the chapter.
The ratification result was reported to NTEU National and CFPB Management this morning.
Congratulations to all who voted, and to all our union members who showed up in ways big and small to make this agreement happen! YOU are the Union!
When does the new CBA take effect?
The final step is CFPB agency head review, when CFPB’s lawyers conduct a final review for legal compliance. Agency Head Review is now complete and the new CBA went into effect November 8, 2024.
The NTEU 335 CBA Bargaining Committee is working with CFPB to confirm and communicate the effective date to employees ASAP!
What's in the new CBA contract?
NTEU’s Bargaining Team has achieved three major goals with this tentative agreement:
- ✅ Four-year extension with minimal, non-substantive changes expires December 31, 2028
- ✅ Ground rules with 12 observers
- ✅ ALL CFPB Next articles protected:
- Work Schedules
- Remote, Telework, & Hybrid Programs
- Employee-Initiated Requests for Change in Duty Station
- Work Space and Parking
- plus 16 more!
We reduced the risk from 2-year midterm reopeners, protected 20 articles which cannot be changed for four years, and made minimal changes to the rest of the agreement.
